Sometimes the tooth root fractures during extraction, the fragments should be extracted if possible. Medical Tools elevators are designed to remove a tooth fragment from an extracted molar's socket.
Warwick-James Elevator Set consists of fine dental elevator head, used to luxate the tooth from the socket and loosen soft tissue attachment to aid extraction. Flat handle decreases the force against the bone and reduces the incidence of the fracture.
Root elevators are instruments designed to loosen or remove dental roots, root fragments or teeth. Medical Tools wide range of root elevators are available to suit different teeth, techniques, and locations in the mouth. The handle is made form Non-Magnet stainless steel (never rust) while the tip is made from hardened stainless steel last longer.
Dental Picks are extremely useful for a wide range of procedures including elevation of gingival margin prior to intraoral extraction of cheek teeth, and removal of fermenting food matter from affected diastema.

Cryer’s elevators have a sharp, pointed triangular beak set at a right angle to face either the left or right side of the shaft.
The shaft of the elevator is also angled so that it clears the buccal tissues when in use. These elevators are particularly
useful in removing lower molar roots, but they also function elsewhere. Very useful elevators for feline dentistry, rodent
